NITI Group were pleased to appoint Pricewater Copper as their Global Audit partner for their entire group companies financial maintenance and providing global directive to adoption of best accounting practice.
The objective was to set a third party Advisory body to provide us transparent feedback on performance improvement, business valuation and sustainability management and global practice in accountancy and financial management.
PricewaterhouseCoopers is a multinational professional services firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the world’s second-largest professional services firms, and is one of the Big Four auditors, along with Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY) and KPMG.

NITI to entered the top East African Companies CLUB 101

October 22^nd, 2013, Nairobi, Kenya: NITI Distribution Ltd ( the subsidiary company of NITI group ),an IT distribution company, won this year’s survey of the fastest-grown medium-sized companies in Kenya to graduate and enter the prestigious Club 101 companies in east Africa , surpassing 2500 participating companies , to be awarded with 3^rd fastest grown medium sized company with turnover crossed above Sh 1 billion, which is benchmark for the companies to enter the Club 101 companies of East Africa region.
Its triumph marking , first time an IT distribution firm has won the competition to enter the club 101 space which have member comprising of the successful and companies contributing to growth of the economy.
The survey is conducted by the Business Daily, a publication of the Nation Media Group, and KPMG — a consultancy firm.
Club 101 is a special grouping of former Top 100 companies who have surpassed the entry criteria and would like to serve as role models and mentors for upcoming Top 100 companies. Club 101 members are honorary members and are eligible to attend Top 100 functions.
The survey showed that Kenyan firms are increasingly attracted to form joint ventures with foreign investors as a way of tapping more capital and expertise to fuel their growth. The share of joint ventures among firms surveyed rose to 17 per cent compared to 13 per cent last year. This came as those fully owned by Kenyans dropped to 76 per cent compared to 83 per cent in 2008.
The survey was sponsored by the NSE, research firm Synovate, UAP Life, Strathmore Business School, and software firm Sage Pastel that is also set to offer $100,000 worth of free training to accountants of the top 100 firms.
Kenya’s Top 100 mid-sized companies Survey (‘Top 100 Survey’) is an initiative of KPMG Kenya and Nation Media Group. The Survey seeks to identify Kenya’s fastest growing medium sized companies in order to showcase business excellence and highlight some of the country’s most successful entrepreneurship stories.
